SER National Puerto Rico Earthquake Relief Fund

Just after a little over two years since Hurricane Maria devastated the island, Puerto Ricans are again being challenged by another natural disaster.

Since late last December, a series of powerful earthquakes hit Puerto Rico, including a 6.4-magnitude earthquake which struck on January 7, 2020. Thousands on the island are facing power outages and physical and emotional crises. In fact, many Puerto Ricans are sleeping outside for fear another tremor may hit, and thousands more remain in government-run shelters. Experts predict aftershocks may continue for some time.

SER National is committed to doing our part to help those who have suffered during the crisis and the many more who still face danger. While federal aid is promised, it may take time to reach those in need. That’s why SER National is asking for you to join us in supporting the SER National Puerto Rico Earthquake Relief Fund.

Your donation will support a vast network of nonprofits actively supporting and working in Puerto Rico. These groups are providing emergency relief and long-term support to those affected by the quake and the ensuing aftershocks. Relief workers are also helping out in the government shelters, providing emotional support, and caring for vulnerable populations like the sick and the elderly. All of these services are part of the help people need to get back on their feet.

Please donate today and join with SER National so that we can all be there for those who need us the most.
