In 1984, Cruz Hinojosa worked as a locksmith until the oil industry went bust and he found himself unemployed. The training he received gave him the opportunity and self-confidence to change his career path. Currently, Cruz is a Civilian Supervisor with the Houston Police Department and has been with the City for over 20 years.
