Throughout American history, the contributions of Hispanics and Latinos have enhanced and shaped our culture. The presence of Hispanics and Latinos in the United States has enriched our country and given a face to a culture characterized by hard work, family values, and…service to the country. Hispanic culture and customs adds greatly to America’s rich and varied multicultural and multiethnic character.

SER National is proud to join in the national celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15th to October 15. As 17% of the U.S. population are of Hispanic or Latino origin, it is important that we highlight the successes of Hispanic and Latino citizens to give future generations pride in themselves and their heritage.

Learn more about Hispanic heritage by going to the official National Hispanic Heritage Month website here. If you are in Houston, Texas, another great way to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month is by attending the “3 SER Amigos” Gala Celebration, honoring three individuals who have made a difference in the lives of so many people from the students invested in SER Jobs for Progress to members of the Houston community. Those honorees include Stephen Fraga, Rick Jaramillo, and Armando Perez.

The “3 SER Amigos” Gala Celebration will take place on Friday, October 6 at the Marriott Marquis in downtown Houston. For more information, click here. SER National is proud to celebrate Hispanic culture and to continue our mission to improve the lives of Hispanics and others all across America.
