We had an awesome BankWork$ graduation yesterday. 32 dedicated students from Fort Bend & Houston graduated from this 8 week intensive program. As you can see by the pictures, we had a lot of excited graduates eager to get started in their banking career. The graduation was followed by a hiring event which resulted in 5 on the spot job offers including one of our students (pictured below with her daughter and husband) receiving an offer as a Branch Manager! Banking partners ready to hire included BBVA Compass, Wells Fargo, Capital One and Bank of America.

Yesterday a group of ten women entrepreneurs met with the President of the United States, Vice President, SBA Administrator Linda McMahon and Ivanka Trump in a Roundtable at the White House to discuss the successes and current challenges that women entrepreneurs face.
